A Teachers Backpack

Hello and welcome beautiful people!

Thank you for taking the time to check out my blog😊. Today is Wednesday, June 24th, 2026, I spent all morning running around the city for my dog when I really just want to be reading my book, A House of Flame and Shadow😩. Nevertheless, today I will be sharing what I kept in my backpack this year. It changed slightly from when I was in university but for the most part I feel as thought every student has what I am about to list in their bag. Before I start, I want to preface and say that I am not sponsored by any of these brands (though it is a thought and potential goal) and any views or opinions are my own.

Alright, for starters, I have had this backpack since my junior year of high school and she has been holding it down ever since. She cute, she stylish, and she adds a pop of colour to any outfit, especially the winter outfits when those become seeped in blacks, greys, and neutrals. I haven't really had the need to replace her and I don't think I will for a while.

Any school setting is now synonymous with either a laptop or iPad, I know I have had a laptop in my backpack since I left high school. As for teaching, I use a Lenovo ThinkPad (different model). I like that it's touch screen and that it can completely flatten. And of course, I always have my charger with my name on it because the kids are quick to try and steal it if they've lost theirs.

When it comes to everyday supplies, I keep about 2 of these composition notebooks, one as an agenda for myself and the other is usually the interactive notebook that we use as a class. For this, I try to keep a template notebook (a.k.a. the one I have) so that the kids can see the expectation when it comes to the page(s) they are working/taking notes on. I also have a pencil case that is full of pens (mainly blue and red), hi-lighters, one eraser, a couple pencils, and a few black sharpies.

Outside of school stuff, I usually have some lotion, vaseline, and carmex because this weather will have you dryer than a desert if you don't keep yourself moisturized.
